Note to myself (and to others): how to add a user to a local group on a DC

It is well known that adding a user to a local group (like a setup or farm admin to the local Administrators group) in a domain controller machine cannot be done through the UI; you can still do it via the command line :

  1. run the command line as an administrator
  2. type net localgroup Administrators /add yourdomain\youraccount

I know that SharePoint should not be installed on a DC computer, but on my local development farm I do it all the times to keep my setup as simple as possible.
